1. Seat of Government
The Korean Government finished relocation of 37 executive ministries and organizations in 2014. The number of relocated officials exceeds 13,000.

2. International Business Hub
This area will be the central business district of the city with cultural abundance. International organizations, businesses and many cultural facilities will be located. The National Library of Sejong, Presidential Archives and Sejong Convention Center are already built and have become the most visited public spaces in the city.

Surrounding the new City Hall built in 2015, more local government offices will be located such as the Office of Education, post office, police station, and tax office.

As 16 national research institutes in the area will increase the city’s research capacity, many top-notch universities home and abroad show interest in having their campus in the city. A cluster of university, industry and research institute will be the center of innovation and creativity.

Citizens and tourists will be able to get access to high-quality medical treatment and welfare services in this area.
6. High Technology Industry
Proximity to Osong Biotechnology Cluster and Daedeok Innopolis make the city an ideal site for knowledge-based businesses.
